BUNDO DOES OKTOBERFEST!

First up we have the BUNDO PRETZEL (vegan. £4.50). A collaboration with esteemed Bolton-based Bavarian bakery, Pretzel & Spelt. Garam massala and turmeric dough pretzel flecked with ajwain seeds, black salt and mango powder. Served with currywurst dip and pickles. Perfect with a Bundobar! while you’re choosing the rest of your pots.

Bundobust chefs tackle the German institution of currywurst with CURRYWURST KOFTAS (vegan, gluten free. £7.50). Desi dumplings of cauliflower, cabbage and carrot are served with a classic currywurst sauce charged with garam masala and a dusting of curry powder.

Another twist on German tradition comes in the form of MOONG & SAUERKRAUT FRITTERS (vegan, gluten free. £5.50). Fried ground lentil, gherkin and sauerkraut dumplings spiced with parsley, caraway, chilli and ginger. Served with a sweet cinnamon and jaggery applesauce dip.

PROST PICKLES (vegan, gluten free. £4) offer a medley of heritage carrot, mooli radish, turnip and cauliflower pickled with mustard, chilli, dill and peppercorns.

BATAKA SALAT (£5.50) boosts the backline with a German-Indian potato salad. Purple and new potatoes combined with dill, curried sour cream, tamarind chutney and crunchy samosa pastry.

Can’t decide what to order? Fear not, Bundobust have created an OKTOBERFEST COMBO FOR 2 for just £35, featuring Prost Pickles + Moong & Sauerkraut Fritters + Bataka Salat + Currywurst Koftas + Okra Fries + Chole Saag.

ON THE BAR

Headlining the bar, Bundobust have brewed up the limited edition “BUNDOBAR!” – 5.2% Black Lager, a proper German style Schwarzbier with Munich and Vienna malts. BUNDOBAR!  pairs well with the Oktoberfest specials flying out of the kitchen.

Bundobust have also linked with British lager heavyweights, Braybrooke, to collaborate on NIGHT MARKET PILS, a 5.5% Lager. Available on tap or in bottle in all Bundobust venues.

Don’t fancy a beer? Bundobust are pairing their German pots with Fritz Willi – a deliciously irreverent modern Riesling. An excellent food pairing with notes of elderflower, honey and lime.

New for 2023… Bundo Schnapps! Bundobust have put their twist on the German after dinner drink with their housemade Mango & Spiced Apple Schnapps. Prost!
