HAPPY DIWALI FROM BUNDOBUST

We’re going all out for Diwali this year, with a menu of Desi party favourites between now and the big day!

It’s a sweet & savoury bonanza! There’s chutneys galore!! We’re whisking you away with us on our recent Leicester trip in glorious 4D technicolour  with Fafda & Jalebi, Patel-family recipe Halwa with fresh-fried puris, and samosas which we’re also smashing into a deluxe samosa-chaat sharer, think Bundo Chaat dialled up to eleven.

Diwali Specials

Fafda & Jalebi £6.50

Sweet & Savoury snack platter – crispy carom seed and black pepper Fafda, and deep-fried, syrup-drenched spirals of Jalebi. Served with marcha pickle, cobis dry-fry, and mint chutney.

Chaat Deluxe £7

Samosa Chaat sharer – Smashed vegetable samosa with fresh onion, tomato, crispy chickpeas and sev, with mint, imli and sweet yoghurt chutneys.

£1 from each Chaat Deluxe goes to Milap

Halwa Puri (contains nuts) £5.50

Traditional Indian sweet, with ground lentils cooked into a sticky, fudgy texture with ghee, milk, saffron, and cardamom. Served with savoury puris.

Samosa (v) £5.50

Deep-fried papri pastry pyramids stuffed with a mixed vegetable masala. Served with mint and imli chutney.

Watermelon + Rose Sharbat

A traditional Indian drink, often called ‘the world’s first soft drink.’ Sharbats are made by combining fruit juices, petals or herbs with sugar and water. Ours combines watermelon, rose water and lime juice before being topped with soda and garnished with fresh lime.

Milap

Established in 1985 as a way of bringing people across North West England together with a common love for the arts, Milap has grown into the UK’s leading Indian Arts and Culture company, with a remit that continues to focus on performance, learning and development.

This Diwali Bundobust are partnering with Milap to support their work elevating Indian culture across the UK. We are honoured to host two of their events in our Liverpool venue, and £1 from every Chaat Deluxe will be donated to Milap as a registered charity.
