ALL ABOUT BUNDO

Frequently asked questions about Bundobust

OUR MOST ASKED QUESTION(S)

  • What does ‘Bundobust’ mean? Literally translating from the Anglo-Indian language to “tying and binding” – it references the combo of us bringing banging Indian Street Food and Craft Beer together in one place (well, 4 places now.)
  • What’s the story of Bundobust? Well, thanks for asking! Read all about how we came to be here.

FOOD & DRINK

  • Is it spicy? Sometimes, with a balance of spicy-ness across all sections of our menu, just ask our team and let them know your spice preferences and they can guide you what to order – when we say “Too Much Spicy” that’s more a general vibe check. Spicy = Fun.
  • Is everything vegan? Not everything, but we have loads of vegan options across our whole menu.
  • Do you have gluten-free options? Yes, loads!
  • Is your menu Halal? Yes, because the entire food menu is strictly vegetarian and vegan, there are no meat products used at all.
  • Where do the beers come from? We have our very own Bundobust Brewery, based in Manchester. (You can visit it, it’s a restaurant too! See here.) With beer being so fundamental to Bundo’s origins, operating a Bundobust Brewery was always a pipe dream which became a reality in 2021. Taking over a former car park on Manchester’s Oxford Street, the now award-winning Bundobust Brewery houses a 10 hectolitre brew kit, taproom, and a 150 seater restaurant – brewing beers only available in Bundobust, and designed to pair perfectly with their dishes. This includes year-round beers like Python, Peela and Chacha, and seasonal limited-edition brews and collaborations with brewing friends and legends from across the world.
