You’ll be aware that some new rules are coming into place today regarding eating, drinking, and gathering in public in the North.
Not saying that these rules are in any way unclear or confusing () but we wanted to give a quick recap of how they might affect your visits to Bundo in the near future.
⁃ People in Leeds, Manchester, and Liverpool must not meet with anybody else’s household indoors. We’ll be getting in touch with all advanced bookings to check for any changes in numbers. Saves you a job, we’ve all got a lot going on.
⁃ When you arrive, whether you’re a walk-in or a pre-booking, we’ll need to confirm that you’re from the same household or support bubble. Not being nosey, it’s just the law.
⁃ All of the COVID-specific procedures that have become second nature to us since July will be vigilantly upheld – visors and masks, ordering at the table, you know the drill by now.
Liverpool & Manchester:
⁃ Due to Tier 3 restrictions, any guest ordering beers, cocktails, tinnies, sharpeners, swift halves, or any other form of alcoholic beverage must order food.

ENHANCED HEALTH & SAFETY
As we prepare to welcome customers to Bundobust again, we’re continuing to implement health & safety measures that go above and beyond even the usual strict procedures for hospitality. It’s our responsibility to provide our staff and guests with a safe environment to enjoy Bundobust on, so all staff will undergo pre-shift health checks, and have been trained on enhanced safety measures such as hand-washing every 30 minutes, and sanitising contact surfaces more frequently than usual.
We’ve also made a few tweaks to the customer experience to ensure we’re operating and safely and responsibly as possible:
Venues are now operating as a reduced capacity to ensure physical distancing measures. A member of the team will greet guests at the entrance and guide them to a suitable table.
For walk-ins, we’ve replaced our waiting area with a virtual queue system. If there’s nowhere to sit when you arrive, we’ll take your details and send you a text when your table becomes available.
Extra bookings have been made available for those who want to plan ahead. Please book through our website.
We’ve removed all menus, cutlery, and caddies from the tables.
Contactless menus and ordering are available via a QR code link on each table.
If you’d prefer to order in person or browse our beer selection, single-use menus are available by request, and we’ve installed perspex screens between guests and bar staff.
All bars are now completely cashless.
